Health and Safety Advice

We are hoping to have defence medics on the day. However, you still need to be in a position to carry out your own blister care. We are also hoping to have some Physio-Therapists to provide some much need massaging of sore and tired muscles

We have provided some documents for you to download and read. There is a;
Do’s and Don’ts Leaflet
Health Advice Leaflet
Heat Related Illnesses

As well as your training to compete in and complete the March you should have sufficient stock of supplies to keep yourself well hydrated and your blood sugar levels up. You should also wear and bring spare clothing suitable for the prevailing weather conditions and also be prepared for changes. The last few years have seen blistering hot sun and downpours – one never knows what’s going to happen.  Lastly, it is to your advantage to have a backup team. You really do not want to be driving after such activity
